The Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District recently announced the BLT Water Quality Monitoring grant award to BLT. BLT was awarded $33,721 of the total $1,305,707 that was awarded this year. Applications for 2026 grants are due September 1. This may be an opportunity to expand the Honey Creek Stream Restoration Project.
On April 1 we are planning the maiden voyage of the BLT Water Quality Pontoon which we are purchasing using the 2025 MWCD grant and the generosity of Buckeye Lake Marina. We will gather at the North Shore Boat Ramp at 9:00 AM for the launch. Please let me know if you can join us for a brief ceremony and pictures. The more participation by our Board, the Lake Keepers and the community, the merrier.

The 2022 Collaborative Achievement in Sustainability Award has been awarded to Buckeye Lake for Tomorrow
and Buckeye Lake Region Corporation. This award recognizes a group of entities or individuals who have shown effectiveness
in producing environmental accomplishments through a collaborative effort.
